The event continues to be supported by Katie Hewison, who is a former World Duathlon Champion and Team GB Triathlete, and current English Cross Country Runner. She will be supporting both Chorley Athletic & Triathlon Club and the event on the day.
The event has gone from strength to strength, and last year won the 2017 Junior Event of the Year in the North West Triathlon Series. The Triathlon England Official on the day said "it was the best junior event I have officiated at."
All races consist of an off road run / bike / run event held in the beautiful Astley Park, located in Chorley Town Centre (near Pavilion in centre of park), with all sections being completed on grass.
All races will be chip timed, with the exception of the Youngsters. All young people competing in individual races will receive an event medal, and those competing in the Chorley School Team events will be eligible for SSP prizes.

Any bike type is permitted (however, it is advised to consider weather conditions on the day given the race is completed on grass). Helmets must be worn, and bikes must be in a road worthy condition. The onsite Bike check area is organised by Chorley Cycling Club, with support from local busines, The Bike Cabin.
The event in organised by Chorley Athletic & Triathlon Club, and is run with the support KH Coaching, Chorley School Sport Partnership (SSP), Chorley Council and Chorley's Angels. A refreshment van will be on site and open from 8.30am until 2pm. Refreshments are also available from the Kiosk in the Pavilion at Pet's Corner, and Cafe Ambio, by Astley Hall.
